Q: How do I sign up?

A: You can join the waitlist on our landing page. Once we launch the free plan, you’ll receive an email with instructions to download the app and create your account.

Q: Is Frenly free?

A: Yes! Frenly has a free tier with essential features. For more advanced tools like detailed health reports, smart reminders, and family sharing, we offer premium plans: Super Frenly and Frenly Fam.

Q: Is Frenly available on Android?

A: Frenly will first launch on iOS. The Android version will be released after the iOS app, including the paid plans, is fully launched and stable. The waitlist for Android will open at a later date, we’ll announce it once it’s ready.

Using Frenly

Q: How does the AI assistant work?

A: Frenly uses artificial intelligence to answer pet care questions and suggest tips based on science-backed resources. You can ask questions about nutrition, behavior, wellness, and more.

Q: How does Frenly grow with my pet?

A: Frenly continuously learns from the information you provide, including your pet’s profile, health details, daily logs, and activity history. Over time, Frenly personalizes its recommendations and reminders, adapting as your pet ages and their needs change. This makes Frenly smarter, more accurate, and more relevant the longer you use it.

Q: Is Frenly still reliable if I don’t log daily activities or incidents?

A: Yes. Even without daily logs, Frenly remains a reliable AI assistant for answering pet care questions and providing general recommendations. However, the more information you save about your pet, the more personalized and accurate Frenly’s insights and reminders become. Think of it as “getting smarter with you” but it will always be helpful, whether you log everything or just the essentials.

Q: What’s the difference between Ask Frenly and Frenly Rec?

A: With Ask Frenly, you can type in any question about your pet and get an instant, science-backed answer. Frenly Rec (short for “Recommendations”) steps in when you’re not sure what to ask by providing helpful suggestions, prompts, and insights tailored to your pet’s needs, so you don’t miss important aspects of their care.

Q: What kind of incidents should I log?

A: Incidents can be anything unusual that you noticed in your pet’s day. Examples include:

• Health-related events (vomiting, limping, allergy flare-ups, loss of appetite)

• Behavioral issues (separation anxiety, excessive barking, scratching furniture)

• Accidents (bathroom accidents, minor injuries)

Q: What kind of activities should I log?

A: Activities are the routine, everyday moments that shape your pet’s health and wellbeing. Examples include:

• Feeding (meal times, portion sizes, treats)

• Grooming (brushing, bathing, nail trims)

A: You can set reminders for feeding, medication, grooming, vet appointments, exercise, and other daily tasks. Frenly helps keep your pet’s routine consistent.

Q: Can I use Frenly for multiple pets?

A: Absolutely! You can add up to 5 pets on the free plan, each with their own profile, logs, and reminders.

Q: Can my family members also use Frenly?

A: Yes. With Frenly Fam which will be launched later, multiple family members can access and update your pet’s care information.

Q: Which AI models does Frenly use, and where do the answers come from?

A: Frenly currently uses OpenAI’s GPT 4.1-mini and Perplexity Sonar to generate responses. To ensure accuracy and trust, Frenly specifically retrieves information from credible, expert-backed sources, including:

A: Yes! Frenly allows you to export your pet’s logged history of Incidents, Activities, and Highlights into a PDF file. This makes it easy to share detailed records with your veterinarian during checkups, helping them better understand your pet’s health trends over time.

Privacy & Security

Q: What data does Frenly collect?
A: We collect only what’s needed to provide the service — such as your email, pet details, and app usage data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Q: Are my AI conversations private?
A: Your chats with Frenly may be stored securely to improve app performance and accuracy. We do not sell your data.

Q: Can I delete my data?
A: Yes. You can request data deletion at any time by contacting privacy@frenlyapp.com.

Plans & Payments

Q: What are the paid plans?

A: Frenly offers three tiers:

• Free – Essential pet care tools.

• Super Frenly – Advanced tracking, reports, and reminders.

• Frenly Fam – Everything in Super Frenly plus family sharing.

Q: How many questions can I ask on the Free plan?

A: Free users can ask Frenly up to 3 questions per day for each pet. These daily asks do not roll over to the next day. For unlimited asks and more advanced features, you can upgrade to a paid plan anytime.

Q: How can I earn more Asks?

A: You can earn extra Asks in three ways:

• Invite friends - Every time a friend signs up using your invite, you’ll get 1 free Ask.

• Record incidents - Logging pet incidents can unlock additional Asks to train Frenly and help you learn more about your pet’s wellbeing.

• Purchase Asks directly

Q: How many Recs do I get?

A: Free plan users get 1 free Rec in total. Paid plan users get 2 free Recs in total. Recs help guide you with suggestions when you don’t know what to ask, making sure you don’t miss important aspects of your pet’s care.

Q: How can I earn more Recs?

A: Free users can:

• Purchase Recs directly

• Watch short ads

• Unlock Recs by recording incidents

Paid plan users can unlock additional Recs by logging incidents in the app.

Q: Can I view the complete chat history in Frenly?

A: Free users can view up to:

• 10 most recent chat logs (combined from both Ask Frenly and Frenly Recs)

• 10 logs per category in Moments: Activities, Incidents, and Highlights

For unlimited access to your pet’s full history, you can upgrade to a paid plan.

Q: How do I upgrade?

A: Once Super Frenly and Frenly Fam launch, you’ll be able to upgrade directly in the app.

Q: Can I cancel anytime?

A: Yes. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, and you’ll keep access until the end of your billing cycle.
